I love photographing people and more importantly I like to inject some fun into the session so we all have a good time making great images. For some people it can be a nerve-wracking experience so for my clients there is no imposing studio to worry about as I prefer to photograph people in their own homes or locations of their choice to make them feel at ease. Before any photographs are taken, we sit down to discuss ideas and what we will do to set a relaxed, friendly environment. This enables us to get to know each other better, interestingly we often find that pictures taken towards the end of the session are better as people are more relaxed at this time. During the initial contact we discuss the location for your session, With younger children this can often mean photographing them at home where they can play in their own environment, with their own toys, should they need a break. Sometimes it's during these breaks that some of the very best pictures are taken! For older children and adults we can go out on location, maybe a local park or place that means something special. There is no strict time limit to the session either and nothing is rushed as I only book one client for that day.
Above all portrait sessions should be creative, fun for everybody taking part and the end results should reflect that.

I charge a standard sitting fee of £50 and then any pictures chosen from the session are charged as below in the Standard Prints List. Discounts are available for multiple print orders.
